Adding Shimmer EVM Network - Desktop

To modify the default network on your MetaMask, which is currently set to the "Ethereum Mainnet," you will need to proceed with the following instructions:

1. Locate the dropdown button adjacent to "Ethereum Mainnet."

2. Click on the dropdown button and select the option "Add Network."

3. Click on "Manually add a network".

4. Fill in the following informations.

Network Name: ShimmerEVM

New RPC URL: https://json-rpc.evm.shimmer.network

Chain ID: 148

Currency Symbol: SMR

Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.evm.shimmer.network

Now you successfully added the Shimmer EVM Network!
